looking down my Life Trail
its impossible to see
where the future curves and bends
and where I'll end up being
but that's just part of the appeal
not knowing what's ahead
I tend to like to cling to plans
but I'm running blind instead
See, I've noticed that I have a way
of getting myself lost
when I cling to maps drawn up by hand
but knowing's not worth the cost
So I'll set off without a plan
with prayers on my lips
and trust only in God above
as I embark on my Life Trip
